I admit, I was skeptical reading the first post. It's understandable for doubting the message for he never posted here before and anybody could register pretending to be him and still write as eloquently as him. I was skeptical even if my hunch was indeed true but after reading the second post about Leah, I began to believe because we kind of knew about it last Wed. night. We came to an agreement not to be the bearer of such sad news since it's not our place. I myself went home w/ a conflicting feelings, sad and also happy of course after seeing him. We just waited for an official statement and sure Joshua did.

I thought the only person who can confirm the authenticity of the message in such a short notice was Jane otherwise members would still argue and ask to this day, believe it or not. Who knows it will drag for a week. So, thanks Jane for responding right away so we can go on and send our best wishes and congratulatory messages to Joshua and family.

I could have asked Joshua that night directly about my hunch in a joke way but we thought he may not be comfortable because of the personal nature of it. Plus, I might get an irritated response and I'll be embarrassed. I don't know him in a personally way how he handles jokes like that. I'm just a fan not his personal friend.

As we all agree, it's nice that he himself announced the news here.

I will join the club in saying "I am speechless"! Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful news about Josef with The Forum before going public, so to speak. It is truly an honor to hear it directly from you. Congratulations on joining the ranks of parenthood with someone who is very special to you. I am not yet a parent, but can only imagine the joy and elation you, Lisa and your families must be feeling right now.

Joshua, you know we are your biggest fans. You do so much for us with your beautiful music and kind personality. I only hope that we can return a small portion of that to you by saying congratulations and we love you!!

Wauw! I can only join the rest of the forum in congratulating Joshua, Lisa and the rest of the family on this wonderful news. I have to say I really admire Joshua and Lisa in taking on such a responsibility, it's absolutely wonderful!

It's also nice to know he'll be back in Italy next year. I'll give me a good excuse to visit Tuscany again .

Congrats Josh and Lisa! And thank you Josh for posting the news personally; I know it took a lot of guts to do that, not knowing how people would take it. I think you can see--doubts about authenticity of news in the internets aside--that we're thrilled for you.
